>>32142410They are very different just from the culture alone, since JP is a different culture entirely. It's much more 'psychic' where you have to read the atmosphere and be on the same wavelength or you'll get sniffed you out fast. You are part of a bigger entity, and you just have to move within that limitation without upsetting its balance. One thing about JP culture is that people aren't gonna tell you shit, you have to realize it on your own, but I mean that works fine for them. It's clueless gaijin who get mad when others are quietly reacting negatively to their cluelessness (hey, that kinda sounds familiar). So yeah, there's gonna be some passive aggressiveness in those cases.
The HoloJP girls themselves are actually pretty amazing and are quite mature so they don't really say dumb shit that sounds arrogant and clueless and such. I guess the result is that there's less risk at the cost of playing it more safe.
HoloEN guys are better than the norm I imagine, they're just clueless about idol culture and the likes. They're treating it all from a western perspective, so they're going to miss on existing unwritten rules and expectations if those were to exist. You'd expect the more experienced EN girls to have that ground covered, but it kinda seems like they don't, either. Gura seems to be somewhat of an exception in that she operates somewhat JP-like in a way (reserved, probably uncomfortable telling criticisms, bigger sensitivity for atmosphere, etc).
