>>3219899It's fine for the event, and a factor humans are intrinsically hard-wired to notice and feel either excited or comfortable about (bigger numbers means 'stronger' community and better chance at overall survival).
That being said, this also places value in projections of growth and either continued excitement, or destroying rrats saying EN is fully declining. It may not be as popular for live events these days (even acknowledging the YT bug), but it's still showing they're leading the pack overall and maintaining a healthy environment for their fans.
Just don't be toxic to other fanbases, and it's fairly harmless.
