Those people aren't usually choleric and angry, they're typically hurt and dejected from feeling ignored, neglected, and betrayed. To laugh at people in that state comes off as quite twisted. The people you're seeing mad in threads aren't usually the gachis themselves, they're others who are upset at their treatment and all the concepts involved. The ones suffering are usually in a state of despair, coping, and hopelessness, trying to sort out their feelings of love and betrayal. Personally, if that happened to me I'd just be disappointed more than anything else, because I'd still have remaining love and appreciation for my oshi from the past.
In any case, the relationship between the personality and fans needs to be made clear. Then as long as there's proper awareness you won't have issues like the JPs, unless you're an idiot.
