If I had to guess, it's a combination of going for only prominent artists and then providing minimal oversight to make sure the design or execution actually works
Myth is fine other than the infamous Gura shit rigging
IRyS has a papa who doesn't give a shit about her and whose art style does not lend well to live 2D
Sana had a shit design despite having a very caring papa
Kronii's face and bust is fantastic but it's good she doesn't often show the legs
Vesper is actually fine, just doesn't fit the typical pretty boy aesthetic
Magni's design is good but wtf is with the eye spacing - if you thought Gura's was bad, this is a disaster
