A long-term view

Regardless of how you feel about collabs between Tempus and HoloEN/HoloID, the trajectory of the past month and a half suggests that despite almost two years of interactions, HoloJP and HoloEN are growing more and more distant in their cultures. HoloJP has, if anything, been leaning more and more into appealing to gachikoi and towards fans who are only interested in watching the girls; at this point, the only ones who collab with males outside of special events are Fubuki, Suisei, Matsuri, and Towa, and the first three of those only do so once every few months. Meanwhile, a faction of HoloEN (Mori, Bae, Ame, Kronii), in league with HoloID (especially Ollie and Kobo) is pushing for closer Tempus integration, with more collabs and openly telling unicorns to fuck off. At some point, even casual fans will start to notice how different the main branch is from the side branches and start to ask questions, like "why can't Tempus play Rust?" More and more western collab beggars will start to complain about HoloJP, and any EN holdouts (e.g. Gura) and how they're "pandering to incels" and "excluding the males". Whenever JP fans catch wind of this, they'll fight back. Then one of the super-online talents--I think Ollie will be the catalyst for this--will openly call out "idol culture" and criticize the JP way of doing things. Cover normally lets the HoloIDs do their own thing but this will be a step too far for them, and she gets suspended, causing an even bigger backlash from Western casual fans. And that's how the final yab starts.
