IIRC PSO2 NG had a disastrous launch and is kinda in desperation mode.
The fact they effectively bloated the system requirements and locked basic PSO2 behind that means they lost the Potato audience.
And a lot of the changes were weird unusual, stupid or utterly unneeded

PSO2 was dying, riding on good memories of PSO Episode 1-4 and it finally died when NGS came out as a huge disappointment.

It's like an anti-advertisement. I won't support woke companies who push wokeness in their games, and the people they pander to only give a fuck about making everything bigoted and anti-white. They don't actually use or pay for product. PSO2 is dead, killed by injecting politics into hobbies.

There is no scenario in which this took away from other projects lmao. It was paid for by Sega. The hologra animators seem to jump at the chance to do action sequences and this is good experience.
