note.com. A couple years ago, some random internet users found a vulnerability in the website where it would display the IP address of the author of blog posts. I think you actually just had to right click the page and "view source code" and it would show it there. From what I remember they were specifically Sio antis who found it, but I'm fuzzy on that detail. But anyway, someone used that to find Sio's IP address, and with it they were able to find a bunch of 5ch posts written by her, since certain threads on that website publicly display the IP address of the author. And it turns out Sio was an active shitposter. Sio maintained that it was not her who wrote those posts, but the evidence is pretty overwhelming. I'm pretty sure one of them actually said "I'm Sio" while shit talking an anti. She then went on hiatus to organize a lawsuit against those slandering her, and wasn't heard from since. Or technically she did one paywalled NND stream around Christmas 2020, a couple months after the scandal. It's been radio silence since then though.
Some consider it karmic justice since before she was Sio, she was a member of the corporate vtuber group .LIVE. She was one of the most popular members of the group, and at once point she claimed that she was being mistreated by management, which lead to a flurry of events which included her firing, as well as crippling the group forever, as their reputation was damaged significantly right before the big vtuber boom of 2020. If it weren't from her .LIVE could be as big as Hololive or Nijisanji are right now. At the time most people sided with her, but with the revelations about Sio she was probably just a psycho bitch.
