When it comes to vtubers some people care what VAs do offline while others don't. You also have corpos like Hololive that allow dating but had a temporary ban on male collabs and most members still uphold that rule. So lets say your oshi is doing GFE and has a BF irl, is that worse than having no BF but collabing with males? Alternatively, maybe you never cared for GFE or CGDCT and have fallen in love with the personality behind the screen so what difference does it make to you if there are occasional male collabs?
At the end of the day it all comes down to where do you draw the line and why do you watch vtubers.
