The entire point is to develop a parasocial relationship with the audience, not yab, and debase yourself for the gratification of those watching. There's no shame in a vtuber actually improving themself and being good at their job. A lot of vtubers just never even bother reading the manual, and wind up making amateur mistakes or career missteps (valoguard, improve yourself, female friends) because they're just looking for easy money and don't wanna study female game theory.
Fact: game theory applies to both men and women. The games may be different, same as the goals and motivations of those playing them, but having an understanding of your audience's mentality can help make vtubing go much more smoothly for everyone involved. So once women get done apologizing to PUAs, I hope they'll do their evolutionary psych reps and gitgud.
