For trying to launch something in a completely new market with no established audience, they shit the bed with their selection of talents. Neither of the three had anything they were really skilled at to act as a hook for an audience - whether its art, singing, whatever. Despite as many screw ups as Cover has made, they've shown that having an eye for people is one of the few things they're actually good at.
