AI can make beautiful pieces but any further scrutiny to the "art" that they generate would make them unusable for any final product of a game/film.
Plus the US Copyright Office has ruled that AI art can't be copyrighted since AI neither has the human authorship necessary to make a copyright claim, nor can humans claim copyright over something they didn't make. That and these AI generators don't exactly filter out already-copyrighted content.
That said, this whole thing is going to annihilate a fuck lot of amateur artists' careers. And soulless techfags are already very indifferent to art.
