>>3334713Not saying I agree with the bug rrat, but the theory suggests that viewers that are outside of the country of origin of the stream are more likely to be counted as spam viewers instead of normal viewers. All Hololive channels are based in Japan, therefore viewers from outside of Japan would be affected. This, in turn, means that the EN and ID girls would be hit the hardest, and JP holos with big overseas audiences would be hit as well.
Also keep in mind that the Hololive boom happened while Covid measures were in place, meaning a lot of people were at home being bored and might have, in passing, got into vtubers. Since restrictions have started being lifted, more and more people are returning to their normal lives, going to work or school or whatever, so they don't have time to watch streams live. It would probably be better to measure compare channels by the number of VOD viewers at this point in time, until summer hits and live viewers start rising again due to the holidays.
