Yeah i guessed so but still in her other 3D appearances (shion's birthday and calli's concert) she only appeared for 10 minutes at max. and also the tracking/quality seemd a bit whacky compared to this.
So my guess is she someow got into a studio and either payed huge amounts to rent one a flew to japan for this

Also Japan technically still is closed, you still have to get a tour group and a visa, but there are self tours where you can wander around without a guide. In October though the Japanese government is anticipating to resume visa free travel.

I work in an adjacent industry that features and the way /vt/ talks about time commitments to getting 3D rigging pushed is just insane to me. In a regular non-rushed rigging project in my industry, it would take 3 weeks to pull this together from beginning to final touches. I can't decide if everything Cover does is last minute or if they waste a lot of time and money.

It was the scripted dialogue, which to be fair is pretty cringe even in JP lives. This one was even worse since they even had to record the dialogue separately.
