Well done omega, I'm sure the astroturf worked as you expected, I don't hate the guys per se but no amount of shilling will make me like them and trying to shove them into my daily content only increases my resolve against them.
A male gen oriented to appeal to male viewers as "bro tubers"? Really? And the first thing you make them do is cause friction by making them interact with the girls as often as possible? Not only the stars branch is just sunken cost at this point, the mere idea of males oriented to males is retarded, the anime industry revolves around selling waifus, kancolle, genshin, love live, uma musume, you name it, all rely on selling waifus and not husbandos for an obvious reason, and now, their main selling point that is to be a "bro" starts off by a betrayal of trust by making them collab with the girls knowing well the reaction it would provoke... the guys may not deserve the hatred as they just follow orders and it's their job, but your whole project deserves to fail for sure.
Why didn't they go the Vox route? Explain it to me, why try to appeal to fans that already have made their posture clear since the existence of the jp stars that male vtubers aren't for them and expect that by forcing the guys hard enough suddenly for some reason everything will change? Why not make them appeal to women? The fujos? The kpop stans? The influx of new viewers may come slowly but it has higher chance of success than trying to convince people that already said no even before debut and then berating them for not liking the new direction.
And Irys still hasn't received her nose job, holy fuck.
