Women who make choices, whether or not they're aware of it, and take responsibility for them are more likable. In JP culture they don't blame EVERYTHING EXCEPT for themselves for their problems, they accept that they lacked awareness and because of that inconvenienced others. They actually take responsibility and apologize, and society accepts their missteps and moves on.
You want to play ignorant and try to have your cake and eat it too, but instinctively men with an ounce of integrity know that you're being deceptive whether you're aware of it or not.
