It's "up to you", of course, how you use it. But buying new games, hardware, commissioning art, assets, MVs, dance/singing/Japanese lessons, flying overseas for off-collabs - all that is coming out of your "income". And who knows how much they're worried about keeping up with the Joneses, especially within their own branch. When all your fans are going "Woww did you see the latest animated MV from X, it's so wonderful, we would love to see you do one" and you know that you COULD definitely afford it but, well, you're basically blanking your earnings for just that month if you go through with it, that could definitely sting.
Who knows, that was what led Sana to leave. Sure, she was almost definitely making six figures a year even with low viewership and membership, but after you set aside all the associated spending costs, combined with the need to constantly be giving input for projects and communicating with slow bureaucracy, she might have just been "this is far from worth it and will end up killing me".
