Just look at people trying to stir shit literally over Hungrybox saying the word "booba" and Leffen making bitch tweets kowtowing. That one was too big of a leap for it to stick but once they take that ground it does in fact stick.
Gura literally mentioned in her post 3D Live Zatsudan that she saw the "cum" t-shirt edit in her animation. She's probably not a /here/poster, but chumbuds are strongly made up of /here/ type people. And besides, no one made the point that posting on 4chan specifically was going to affect the talents. The point was that people who want x culture are a legitimate influence, and they're not just people on this board even if this board is just about the only place you can go to vent about it.
It's not some crazy coincidence that mems like Kiara and Gura draw lines in the sand. /vt/ isn't "making it up." It's clear as day to anyone who pays attention. I just think it's somewhat dishonest of you to act like this branch-definition struggle is purely just incestuous /vt/ schizoism.
