Degeneracy is fine and great, but japanese always keep it behind doors because that's where degeneracy belongs. Westerners love to flaunt it like it's a medal or some great achievement. So of course the vtubers would do so as well. The viewers love it. Japanese just know that degeneracy can only be tantalizing if it remains degenerate, ie non-acceptable in public. The westerners have fallen past the event horizon, they will always try to one up each other in degeneracy, which will ultimately lead to a quantum decay in the meaning of degeneracy itself, as by nature something can only be degenerate if it is not mainstream, or publicly accepted/displayed. Thus they tumble downwards into a spiral of degenerate madness, until the traditionalists lash out or being traditional is the new degeneracy (orange is the new black). The Japanese people, country, culture, and even economy all reflects stability because it refutes degeneracy (which is paradoxically also how one protects and covets degeneracy, at least in terms of the definition), or when it does partake openly in degeneracy it's to mock it rather than idolize it. Your western vtubers will always be like this, and soon you will see all the traditionalists fade out over time or give in to the degeneracy, as it is the mainstream (normie, meta) thing to do. When your product relies on the public for it's marketability, the public will control what products are successful, and your public is majorly degenerate, and traditionalism is even demonized publicly on your tv and by your own president/government. (Not to get political, it's just fact)
