>>34107537Kiara has streamerbrain autism and thinks too much that she always needs to do some kind of special activity (like a coop game etc.) in order to have a collab.
She doesn't think "oh, I can invite XY over just to have a casual chat", she thinks she needs a "reason" to collab with someone, which most often is a game to play together.
She sometimes admitted herself "oh yeah, I really want to collab with X and she really wants to collab with me (so what's the problem then, just do it?) ... buuuut I cOulDn't tHinK oF a gOoD gAmE tO pLaY (omg girl, are you for real?) ... soooo I guess it'll just have to be postponed indefinetly until I get an idea for whatever shitty indie coop kusoge I want to play with her lol".
And you just want to reach through the monitor and strangle her out of her retardation. Just do a comfy casual chatting stream, fuck always having to use a game as a crutch (and especially fuck games if the lack of it is just the excuse holdup to not have the collab in the first place). But that's part of her streamerbrain disease. She worries too much about "muh dead air - I'm too afraid of running out of topics in a freeform chatting collab (yeah lol, as if that would ever happen), so I neeeeed a game in a background as an easy conversation topic crutch", or even worse "muh audience entertainment - I'm too afraid that YOU viewers will think just doing a chatting collab without a game would be tOo bOrInG and that you wouldn't tune in, so I need to have a game playing to keep you guys engaged!" which is an even worse copout because she shifts the blame and makes her retardation "our fault".
Really, I've seen this pattern too many times, I'm annoyed at how predictable it is. Most memorable recent instances were for example Ame "We were here together" and Mumei "Keywe". They suffer through playing some shitty coop game (because Kiara thinks she needs to, for reasons above) for two hours, with little to no actual organic conversations (just being too distracted by the game, mostly silent, or short conversations just focused on whats happening in game), and only after the gaming part FINALLY ENDS they have a few minutes of aftertalk part where the actual kino conversations happen, and surprise surprise these few minutes of actual talking are often more entertaining and engaging than the two ours of shitty non-conversational gameplay before. It would be so easy to cut out the unnecessary gaming part and JUST have the kino chatting part for the whole time, but oh well.
She had the right idea with wanting to do a girly podcast with some of the other ENs, but knowing Kiara she probably overcomplicates it so it never gets out of the idea phase. She should just relax and do what Chadcast or SNOT is doing, just make a group to have a casual hangout chat with, and don't overcomplicate it by thinking there always needs to be some kind of special activity, which only makes collabs less likely to happen because it adds additional work that's often just used as an excuse to procrastinate
