>>34180129unpopular(?) opinion - Kiara's over the top fangirling for Pekora in the first few months probably did her more harm than good long term. First of all, it's always bad when you let your own character be defined only by their relationship with another character. You get stuck with the role of "sidekick", "accessory", "add-on", instead of being recognized for yourself. (As an aside, this was also one of the problems with "Takamori", but let's not get into that again).
And second detriment, if she thought this would get her closer to Pekora ("she will see how much I love her, and respond, and we will become besties..." etc), it probably even had the opposite effect actually. Pekora isn't the type to respond favorably to such overbearing fangirling and was probably a little weirded out. See how the one who actually got the relationship with Peko that Kiara wanted was Moona, whose type of reserved minecraft autism was more compatible with the rabbit.
Like, sure, I can get why Kiara did the things she did, she meant no harm by it and was probably just overwhelmed in the first days with the new reality of being in the same company as her oshi, and expressed that in her own naturally open and excited way, but as for actual results (in either fan perception or coworker relationships) it didn't really do much good for her. Which she probably knows as well, as she has pretty much dropped the fangirling by now, either by becoming accustomed, disillusioned, or just because she found other people she actually is friends with.
