No one said all cities are perfect, but some cities are multiple times better than others. Take a city like Tokyo compared to a cesspit like new york for instance. None are perfect, but tokyo is infinitely better than a slum city like new york. A very small section of the richest parts of new york may have somewhat of a decent appearance and living situation, but even those places aren't free from a bothering number of trashy people and the thrill doesn't last long. However, maybe it doesn't matter much for tourists since they may not be there long enough to notice anything.
As an american there is only one reason why I would want to visit the major tourist places like L.A., new york, florida, texas, or san francisco. To eat food and go to the amusement parks. Literally nothing else to do unless you are a normal scum.
I think she might like Hawaii though since that state gets a lot of tourists from japan and they have a lot of japanese language aids to help her get around, if she ever does want to visit the USA.
