They'll have logs of which account they transferred the 2k out of and when and to where they were sent, or they physically couldn't function as a bank in the first place, it's not even a regulation thing they just can't tell how much money you have with them if they aren't logging money out/money in. If she signed up to some dumb paypal-like service then the details it was sent to would just be that service rather than the final recipient, but they couldn't really log that shit unless the service told them.
