If you're worried about numbers and also making moves against fans/major notions of what Hololive "should" be, that is very much having your cake and eating it too. Which for indos reading means you can't expect to get the best out of something (in this case her numbers) and not have to deal with any consequences, like making moves that hurt numbers.
She's been around for a little while now and we all "just know" how she is, I don't think she can turn the ship around really. The absolute most charitable thing you can say is she has the "dumb little sister who doesn't know what she's doing" vibe to cover but that doesn't mean it has 0 side effects, such as being suspected of dragging other girls into male collabs.
