Their marraige was a mess and the husband got a little too close to the 2view (who was a highschool girl), wife wasn't happy, husband tried to distance himself from her but it apparently wasn't working so they both decided to invite her to a remote cabin in the mountains. Don't know if the plan was to kill her all along or if they originally wanted to try and talk it out but the girl ended up dead
