No game will ever have more satisfying combat than Dwarf Fortress. Hopefully the Steam version will get a Japanese translation for they too can know the joy of pinning a goblin down and ripping all it's teeth out one by one. Would love to see a vtuber play it.

I'll be honest, considering the kind of game DRG is, if I were one of the devs and checked out the average level of gaming capability in hololive, particularly EN, I don't think I would give out perms either. Not sure it would paint a good picture of the game.

I think the bigger issue is that no one's asked.
Sure you got the forced tutorial mission (which I can see a lot of Holos fucking up doing) but it's got a good deal of chaos and the between mission stuff is prone for chatting (and drinking) before they start.
It would take a bit of time before they learn about proper culture of the game

Joel's entire Charisma tends to stem from FUNNY VOICES MAN which you know I don't think would work.

You'd probably want a person strong on explanation and working in an analytical way explaining what's happening and when but they'd need a tileset as base tiles is instant filter (and needs very high resolution streaming just to not become blurs due to them being ASCII base tiles)
