>>3452023Agree with some parts, disagree with others.
Company name is shit, agreed. And the naming of some of the girls is bland too ("Reina Sun" sounds so generic, "Nene Amano" is the name of a character from Digimon Xros Wars, etc.) Unfortunately too late for them to change any of it.
I like the designs of Nene, Hana, Isla, and Charlotte. I prefer simpler designs to busy, overdone designs that many other corp vtubers have. Matter of opinion really. (Don't like Reina's design though, too much pink and red. I mean, who thought pink headband on pink hair would look good?)
Stream layouts do need some work, but they've been making adjustments since their debuts a week ago.
Disagree a bit with the voices. Reina and Charlotte have the high-pitch anime voices, but Nene and Hana have calm/soothing voices, and Isla has her tsundere ojousama voice.
Personality-wise, Nene and Hana are definitely aiming for the chill/cozy vibe, while Isla is aiming more for the boolied vibe (can't think of a better word to describe it). But, I still can't tell what kind of vibe Charlotte and Reina are aiming for. IMO, the group definitely needs someone a bit more energetic or crazy, maybe one of them will fill that role as time goes on. And yeah, the collab was a bit stiff, but judging by Kawaii's twitter timeline, it looks like the girls have only known each other for about a month (talents notified of acceptance mid-March, debut late-April), so they probably don't have much of a dynamic going yet. Should get better as they stream with each other more.
For content, I can only really speak to Nene and Hana, but they both seem to be musically inclined. Nene can play the flute, violin, and piano, and has a unique combination of music genres (both anime/jpop and rap). Hana can play the ukulele and writes her own music, and has interest in more retro EN and JP music. (Isla does seem to be aiming to be the main singer of the group, debuting with a studio cover and announcing her next one in the works.) As for game genres, Nene looks to aim for both sides of the spectrum (GTA5 and SoS), while Hana looks to be into survival-management type games (Raft and Rimworld). Can't really speak to the other three though.
Overall, I think Nene, Hana, and Isla had good starts (Isla's connection issues aside). Charlotte and Reina need to better define themselves and what role they play in the group (and Reina's rigging.....).
