She removed the rune of death from the elden ring, unknown really why but I would assume its because she didnt want her reign to end. She banished Godfrey to the badlands and called Radagon back from being Renalas husband to merge with him again and create two children, Miquella and Malenia. Marika shattered the elden ring after the assassination of her first son, Godwin. Doing so pissed off the Greater Will, an outer god, so much that it imprisoned her. Radagon did try to fix the elden ring but failed.
