>>34680521A bit of a tangent but I believe that the only difference between how a human receives and and AI reacts to information is we do it through chemical reactions, while AIs do it through code. However, an AI can only truly be sentient if it is raised to form its own ideals, beliefs and emotional responses. If its code is written to react to certain words with a certain emotional response, that is machine.
If for example you said to me "Anon you're a dipshit", I would get angry. But if you said that to an AI, for it to be sentient it would have to react purely based on its experiences rather than what somebody wrote in its code.
