Her current condition is a combination of multiple severe infections having done chronic and/or permanent damage to her lungs and other areas, worsened by both CVID and her at-the-time inability to afford proper or consistent treatment.
There is nothing contradictory about Mouse having been able to live somewhat normally when she was younger.
