Nah, the rrat i believe rn is that something happened with one of the en3 girls, that's why tempus was released first and also why their models looks rushed and unfinished. Tempus wasn't supposed to come this early, it was supposed to be en3 instead, but something happened behind the scenes that's why it still took them this long to release.

That last tweet, combined with the fact that Tempus weren't properly identified as Holostars on announcement and that only happened pretty close to debut, are pretty strong indicators that EN management really did want to release them under the same brand as the girls, but some hero prevented that from happening at the last minute.
Which doesn't mean that they don't have a third female gen in the works. It's quite possible that they'll release the next batch of girls with just a name like Myth and Council and avoid numbering them, then homobeggars and unicorns will forever debate whether they're gen 3 or 4.

all the models were done long before they started pushing really hard that the audition was open to males though, corpo models are typically made before they even start looking for the right person to play them and Myth members have even talked about having their designs done before they ever got to see the process with models then being assigned to each member. even JP side does this if the story of Nene almost using Botan's model is to be believed.

I never noticed that before because I try to pretend they don't exist and never looked at their logo that closely before.
This is actually making me upset because that actually seems plausible as to why the E and only the E is reversed.
Fuck EN management. Seriously. I don't even think they have seperate managers or discords like the JP side does and that's probably due to faggots in EN management. I truly, truly hate them if that's true.

I think the only thing that is evidence against it is that if it was supposed to be a proper EN gen, then it would have had 5 members like the others. The fact it only had four makes it seem like it's more similar to the newest gen of JP holostars which also only has 4 members.

No one is saying that they're hololive. It's just that it SEEMS like EN management originally wanted them to be and were turned down by someone higher up in the JP side of things, forcing them to reluctantly adopt the holostars branding. I fully believe that EN management basically wanted to integrate them into Hololive proper and were prevented from doing so.
