myth honeymoon period was genuinely some of the best times on the internet for me. it was so fun shitposting on /jp/, then /vt/ was created and something just felt like it changed. I'd say the honeymoon period came to an end with mori's first birthday, but there were still some great times following that. feels like since the lean thing, so mori's fault again, that the magic has almost completely gone away

I think Gura was more impressive back when there were hardly any EN vtubers out there besides Nyanners and a few others. These days I would't waste your time with her. Seriously just go check out some other vtubers, there's a lot of people out there in the EN scene these days.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Gura has been going downhill for me since debut but that was just the honeymoon period I guess, it only really got bad once Council debuted and got really really bad in 2022. Nothing feels the same with her anymore and I think she herself is less enthusiastic about things too.

Ironically it doesn't feel like most of holoen are really friends (tempiss does it better) and nijien mogs them in friendship and male collabs, making most of it pointless because half the girls would stop speaking to each other if gura got up there in RUST and said "AMELIA YOU'RE A FAT BITCH AND YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PLAY THE GAME LIKE THIS" and then shoots smegmilia in the head for calling her a fucking bitch.

It's also not a coincidence that Gura's streaming has declined even harder and she hasn't played rust since then. Amelia's autism, kiara's abrasiveness, mori's lack of enthusiasm, gura's childishness and ina's boringness really pale and fail hard. Council (and IRyS) make for a better team than Myth.
