And one of them sent the SC "GURA MY DOG DIED LET'S GOOO" which she seemed to have been waiting for and read it out, had a laugh, and discussed how "If it's real I'm sorry.. but they're probably trolling right?" without offending anyone's sensibilities.
Directly calling out a paying listener as a liar... not a good look.
And who knows, the girl might be living in some backward ass country where she can't talk about it with anyone else, and so decided to just vent at him. Would've been smoother if he ignored it.
