If yubigate never happened, how would you view Ollie? What kind of holistic review would you give her?

Here's my take:
>Speaks multiple languages and welcomes everyone to her stream
>Cares about her family
>Thinks loud = funny
>Plays boring games
>Does occasionally post wholesome learning content (math, science, whatever)

I'd probably give her a 3.5/5 stars as an idol. Yubigate makes it a 2/5. What's everyone else's take?

Ignoring schizo headcanon Ollie is a self acknowledged whore with an admitted dislike of idol culture and desire to change it. I've never been terribly into the idol side of Hololive but I'm even less of a fan of cultural infiltrators. She's a parasite and when she gets Rushia'd or Aloe'd she'll have fully deserved it.

I'd still dislike Ollie. Every time she had a collab she'd hit on whoever she was collating with. Even as a joke it never changed. On top of that she was loud.
I like "Olivia".
I appreciate her speaking English because I speak English but I feel bad that indos that want her to speak indo get told off.

I do like Ollie but that's a very good opinion still. She's kind of shoe-horned into being the 'wild' one of her gen and her model really limits her, so I think "Olivia" is like a real cry for help of what she'd prefer if she wasn't her character

I don't. It's her content and she should be able to speak, present herself, and choose which audiences she allows as she sees fit. She never told anyone to stop speaking Indonesian, she told them they have no business telling her how "they don't understand English" and how Ollie wants to make sure the people she replies to understand what she's saying.
