Game UI and controls will actually become usable to people who haven't been playing it for years already. Plus improved graphics system with both classic ASCII graphics and a new 'official' tileset. I'd prefer the classic look, but for streaming a tileset is probably preferrable, and having an official tileset avoids any perms issues with user mods.
