>>35016591I'm not gonna post this on their discord, because I could be wrong and I don't want to cause unneeded negativity, but you know, guys, after seeing Pippa's tweets in the other thread about other vtubers graduating at around this same period alongside the sisters, now that I've had some time to think and use my 140+ IQ to be like Sherlock Holmes, the more the idea that this all is the sisters' decision to quit and reincarnate as part of a new wave under a corpo, instead of management pulling the plug, makes sense to me.
Here's the evidence I have that leads me to this idea:
1. The streams for this week were still scheduled, thumbnailed, and upcoming stream URLs on the channel prepared as normal, meaning that even their manager/handler didn't know, and only found out between when the schedule was last shown and some hours before the announcement was posted. After the sudden announcement on Twitter and Discord, that's when the thumbnail on their next stream was changed to talk about the graduation announcement.
2. This also means that the sisters must've only received some kind of news between the last time the schedule was shown and the announcement was made, which can only be an acceptance e-mail or proposal from the corp or one of the corps that they applied to.
3. Their manager/handler logged in/became online and visible on their discord at an odd time. This is most likely the same time she was probably still typing up the graduation announcement or right after she finished typing it.
4. Akira being so insistent on making their viewers promise to attend the stream tomorrow is a red herring. She was going to share something important, but not something like graduating. Otherwise, the thumbnail would have not been "Just Chatting" from the start.
5. The owner of MG, Bamboo, is a Japanese person, in Japan, and given the facts established above, he would not have gone, at 4 or 3 fucking AM, in Japan, and thought something like, "You know what, I think I will go and end the GGN Vtuber channel, because we are losing lots of money on it, but I will still fund a complete set of streams for a whole month and a bit more."
6. When asked if the sisters were still going to visit the discord from time to time, their manager/handler was terse or direct to the point and said that she would leave it up to the sisters to answer that, meaning she either has no idea, or she is reluctant to spring the news that the sisters have no intention to keep continuing their roles even just to drop by for a few minutes in their discord, after they graduate.
I think this is all of it. I hope this makes you, whoever is reading this, understand what led me to this idea.
TLDR; Too much shit being abrupt adds up to point to it being the sisters who quit instead of management dropping them
