Hololive EN intentionally refuses to number its gens. So technically they are Gen 3. Even when another gen comes, if you want to believe that is Gen 3 it won't make a difference because it will have a name, not a number.

The implication of this is that the separation between Hololive and Holostars is being blurred while still technically remaining in place. You obviously don't watch any of the stars' streams. The stars have said straight up that management told them uproar isn't considered gen 4.
The first 3 gens of holostars are now considered one unit called "holostars" under the "holostars group" brand, while Uproar is a separate unit called "UPROAR!!" under the "holostars group" brand. I know it's confusing, but that's how it is at the moment.

Yes. It doesn't matter if the market is declining or if previous gens aren't doing well. If Cover actually cared about those things, they wouldn't have debuted ID3, much less the recent stars gens. It's just a matter of time. If EN3 doesn't happen in November, it'll likely be early next year.
