It's good to be self aware. You should really understand how little /vt/ matters in the scope of vtubing. This place is a miniscule presence that primarily contains and entertains itself with shitposting with some actual idle discussion on the side.
Also, watching vtubers is as much of a "hobby" as watching TV is.

I remember when we were one thread on /jp/. /vt/ in my opinion has led to an oversaturation problem regarding vtubers. More quantity but less quality.

This board is but a tiny shrimp adrift in the vast sea that is the larger vtuber community. Look at the number of unique IPs in each thread, then compare it to the engagement in vtuber spaces on reddit, twitter etc.
