Yeah, Mel was the one IRyS made covers with. Although there are old tweets of IRyS' roommate tweeting at AZKi's roommate so they did know each other. However, it seems IRyS was closer to Mel considering they worked together quite often on their roommate accounts.

Not that #s indicates a direct correlation to just how close one is to another but for comparison sake, Mel did 1 cover with Lui back in the day whereas she did either 12 or 13 with IRyS.
