A few years back I swapped out some parts in my PC and ran into an issue with not having USB3 drivers by default, as that specific version of windows 7 that I'd had didn't have them
So in order to fix it, I dug into the drivers in a separate OS and inserted them manually inserted them
Invalidated my windows install, but hey I got the fucking slots working and just lived with it for a while
