>>35273134I think your basis that the world is cruel might be mistaken at its very roots.
For one, the world itself didn't decide to expose you to Ina or to make her your goal, you did. You could always blame the world for her creation, but at this point you'd basically be shouting at the clouds for existing.
But it's hardly a bad thing to have picked this goal though, as impossible as it is.
British explorer Wilfred Thesiger quoted that “No, it is not the goal but the way there that matters, and the harder the way the more worth while the journey.”, with heavy implications that the harder to reach the goal is, the better the journey will be.
Rather than a cruelty, perhaps it's a blessing that you've chosen Ina as a goal. While you're not being granted salvation, you're being granted an opportunity to achieve it. In your journey to reach Ina, you'll improve yourself, do your reps, develop new skills and hobbies, all in the futile hope that you'll one day be able to marry her.
The goal is impossible to reach, but perhaps in your journey you'll find a satisfactory alternative. Maybe you'll find your own CAH that'll love you all the more because of your acquired skills, or maybe you'll feel satisfied with your journey and end it one day.
Or you could wank it all day with tears streaming down your face about not being granted an immediate salvation, up to you tako.
