Not OP but im in a similar position. Holding on to just a couple chuubas left and the only reason im on /vt/ is cus the drama and rm info is more interesting than the chuubas themselves. Vtubing has just become normal streaming now and is just plain boring to watch.

I haven't watched vtubers in over 4 months, I just read threads and use the information gained to larp as multiple sides and bait tribal wars
It's pretty fun, kinda like playing an RTS game except the people here are my units

Thing is i never watched streamers before vtubing cus i always had the mentality of why would i watch someone else play vidya when i could be playing them myself. Vtubing at first felt new and like it was the closest thing to interacting with a real life anime girl. But once you realize chuubas run out of new stories and creatividad that's where the magic ends. This is y vtubing will never be better than anime cus producers can always make new stories every season and that's y anime will never get old.

Most gaming streams aren't good, that's true. I usually only watch unique game streams. It's good that my oshi always makes her streams fresh and not repetitive.
Other than that, I mainly watch for the idolshit
