IRyS has said before on stream that management is very slow to relay information from her to her artist which is how her original kimono outfit got delayed till next year.

Cover accepted that model from redjuice and they get to make the final decision. It is 100% the fault of Cover and even they eventually agreed that the model was bad which is why they let IRyS announce a redesign only a year after her debut. Flare hated her model and had to fight for over 2 years to get it changed so in comparison this was quick.

Hello I'm a 3D artist and you're full of shit. The only element of her design that would present any challenge is the hair, but the reference sheet is detailed enough that even that shouldn't be a problem. Shit on Redjuice all you want, but he provided a better ref sheet for IRyS than any of the more supposedly dedicated mamas and papas in HoloEN. It would certainly not be enough of a problem that it would be "impossible to do a good 3D render" of it. If anyone tells you this then you don't need a new character design you need a new 3D artist. Cover has plenty of good ones. 3D is not a factor here.

So basically, Cover didn't give a shit about her enough to keep her in the loop and tell her what's been going on. Someone (probably a manager) didn't care to check for her, didn't care to ask higher ups what the fuck was going on, and didn't care to be pushy enough to see what the fucking delay and issue was.

In a nutshell, they just didn't give a fuck about Irys enough to make sure her and her model that she uses as primary appeal for her fucking job were updated in a proper amount of time.
