I unironically would want to have reviewers have standards and licenses. It's a way to make sure that they do not have agendas.

In the case of Fantny it's unironically a good way to discover new music. The guy has been publishing 1 review per day for like years now, there's a huge backlog of things to discover. I don't give a single shit about what number he'll spout at the end, I'm old enough to like things by myself, but idk where else online you'll get such an easy to digest library of reviews.

You’re not thinking that one through. Depending on who sets the standards and/or distributes the licenses, it’s a good way to make sure they all share an agenda.
