>>35386628My dad doesn't work at Cover, but I honestly won't be the least surprised. This entire year she's been phoning it in and in her last stream she made it clear that graduation was almost on the table.
I really don't know what's going on for her IRL, but she did make it clear that lifestyle changes are going to have to happen and honestly, I don't think she's a strong enough person to make those changes. She values her "I do what I want, when I want" personality and that's the exact opposite of what she needs.
She streamed about 10 hours a week. Unless she's putting those 10 hours into bettering herself, nothing will change. I don't mean using those 10 hours to catch up on sleep, I mean actual changes. If all she does with that time is sleep, as soon as she goes back to streaming, those 10 hours of extra sleep are instantly gone.
SOMETHING has to give in her life, and I don't see it being her outside of Hololive content. She also just bought a house, so that's an entire set of new responsibilities to add on her list.
She's going to have to make a very big decision: Hololive or outside of Hololive content creation. I'd venture to say the money is going to be with Hololive. They draw a salary, keep 35% of their super chats, and probably an equal amount of all their other income sources like views and channel memberships.
In the 2 years she's had Superchats active, she's gotten $574,593. 35% of that is $201,107.55 or $100,553.78 a year from Superchats alone. The median income for a full time animator is $63k/yr.
She could literally sit in Hololive, just drawing and rake in an absolute fortune instead of drawing for some other company.
This is all coming from a really big fan too. I'm not saying these things to be mean, I'm trying to be realistic about everything.
