I play hard games, old games and games that are kind of niche.Outside of games though I do art streams, talk about weird things like conspiracy theories and super natural stuff. Recently did a karaoke and in the past did a D&D stream.

I wouldn't be able to deny that most of what I do is stream video games and maybe tech event watchalongs but I do enjoy doing a lot of other stuff. Mainly skits (I need to upload more to YT, I play them mid stream and don't bother uploading half of them to YT it's dumb of me) and small edited videos.
I've got a series of handcam oriented videos where I put together model kits, mess around with keyboards, etc, while I do light zatsu

I want to do covers, but I have awful acoustics and I am also quite frankly missing the drive to just do it. Especially since I would love to accompany it with proper video editing. But again, there is huge gap between wanting to do something and actually doing it.

I don't actually know the technical workings of a limiter but as far as i know it's just negative gain whenver it detects you going over the set threshold. Everything else you would have to try out by yourself recording and checking what the audio looks like on the other end. It should do it's job without making you sound terrible. Unless of course you mean that it's muting you which is not the case.

Actually obs has a limiter built in you don't even need a plugin.

I've read an article about it, apparently what I want to achieve can be done with the compressor I'll give this a shot.

Ok so I tried this. I must admit I don't really understand what I am doing but the test results are pretty good, so I'll go with it for the next few streams. I also has the side effect of lowering my overall micro volume which is something I've been meaning to do for quite some time because I am so much louder than the rest.

Generally 3 times a week, sometimes four. But the fourth is often a shorter one, or something outside the norm.

I've tried streaming more, and firstly I burn out - I did seven days in a row, and by the fifth day I'd lost all sense of time. Just work, stream, sleep, repeat. Also, streaming more means less time watching other streams.

If you don't have the time or drive for good content during the day, then don't make it. Remember that at the end of the day you're playing the part of an entertainer, and if even you think you're just making garbage then you're fucking up. Use that time to work on assets or clips or anything else that can add to your stream's quality if you want to be productive during your off hours, or just play the game without stream it.

Truth be told, I haven't been streaming too much due to working on my model upgrades, And i got the double whammy of sepsis followed by the kung-flu a month later. I typically aimed for every other day excluding weekends.

Glad to say I'm getting back into the swing of things, View count went down but I'm not going to number fag because I enjoy knowing people take time out of their day to stop in~!

I used to stream about 3-4 days a week, but I'm lucky to be able to even get one stream past an hour as of late. The wind came back into my sails so hopefully I'll return to more frequent streaming!

Honestly? What happened to asp happens to a social thread on every board occasionally. It starts well, but then advanced coomers and schizos end up there. Updated male vtuber list with the recent additions from the last thread. Finished updating the type of content of all the 1 views. I started getting more descriptive with how I described people's content as I went through it, with the result being that a lot of the 1 views have more descriptive content descriptions than a lot of the 2 views. I might go back through the 2 views again to make the descriptions more useful, however often it is very difficult to see any real pattern to what kinds of games people play.

If anybody has any ideas of what info I could put into other columns Ill consider doing it. And I think I might start putting YouTube vtubers in if people can show me a site similar to sullygnome for tracking streaming stats and streaming categories. And as always, keep posting links and I will add them in. I want to see more 3 views or even 4 views if you have them. Lets pump those numbers up boys.

Your kitty faced Shishou compels me so. As you said I've been streaming my 100% video game based exercise routine for over a year and it's been really swell for weight loss. I've lost more than 85 lbs. and I'm hoping to lose more than 100 lbs. by the end of November. There have been a few hiccups here and there with some weight gained during some hiatus and life events that knocked me out of the routine for awhile, but all and all vtubing has been a very net positive for me. Even though I'm nowhere near my set goal I've been getting compliments from people who knew me when I was a fatter cat than I am now. I especially enjoy the support from the vtubing community as well. My material isn't the most compelling to watch and I knew even a year ago that a niche as tiny as "fitness game streamer" wouldn't get me the numbers that my other favorite vtuber had, which is why my motivation always centered around weight loss and fitness first. Even if I never break it into the double digits I can walk away from vtubing with something positive and tangible I achieved during my time here. Not to say I wouldn't like a larger fanbase, it would be awesome to shoot the breeze with people and make content that's viable when you have a larger CCV. But the viewers and chuubas supporting me definitely make this whole endeavor a lot more bearable and enjoyable compared to if I was doing this all by my lonesome. I just hope I can make them proud with my efforts and don't let them down.

Unsolicited feedback: You seem to have a nice voice, and understanding how to use your voice is what a male vtuber needs to go anywhere. If you studied some vocal technique to shape it up and improved your panels, I think you could build an audience. Specifically as far as your panels go, currently, there's not enough information for a passing viewer to know what they're getting into, and your game selection displayed on the last 5 VODs (what Twitch shows by default) lacks any obvious definition.

Nelson talks a lot but he has very little charisma and almost never anything interesting to say. Folded never shuts up but a lot of times the things he says feel like they've been AI generated and something is wrong with him where his mouth starts foaming and it causes him to sound like a down syndrome kid on occasion. Rezuul also talks a decent amount but despite how much he has to say it never feels like his sentences are connected. Same thing with Paperbag although he's in the mid tier in terms of raw speaking frequency.

You have to enable stream archiving in your Twitch settings, and even then, Twitch saves the VODs only for a week. If you want to keep them permanently, you have to export them to Youtube. Twitch has a native option for this, and I use it for every stream.

From the basics, it's obvious from the most recent Phasmo VOD that the selfposter I replied to was both slouching over and not smiling much at all. He also didn't project; his voice was positioned low in his throat, almost his chest. This is a common place for straight (I'm guessing) Western men to have their voice come from casually, but it's just that - casual. If he sat up a little straighter, spoke with an expression on his face, projected his voice clearer, explored his vocal range and held his voice a bit higher in his throat or lower in his chest .. even these simple techniques would make him more successful and attract more viewership.

For males, as I said, the only thing that matters is the voice. Everything else must be built out from that, or you'll go nowhere.

If they weren't happy together, then it gives them both the opportunity to find better relationships and more happiness than what they had. I'll try practicing on it, thanks! One thing I've noticed when I try speaking from a script is that I tend to actually speak faster than my mind can keep up so I end up stumbling over my words. It doesn't happen during streaming, but I also have a tendency to apparently catch myself out of breath for doing a run-on for too long, which I noticed when I try voicing dialogue or playing VNs. I guess I have a lot of work to do.

CBT I actually could read a lot more clearly, but I attribute that to the fact there weren't too many crazy made-up words. I almost felt like I was in one of those informational videos reading that out loud; but at least I could read the entire thing with a straight face. With how much older some of the older males are content wise it's kinda silly to see people still shilling them. There's only like 100 viewers scattered around the different wvt adjacent threads and they should know them all by now.
