The argument escalates with each week rather than calm down, and the people behind the counter ask everyone to please stop causing trouble, but also now it's going to be two days of pickles each week. The pickle lover gloats, the pickle hater gets angrier and begins to morb, the pickle lover gets angry because he's being accused of only liking pickles because he gets gift cards on the side, and things are still getting worse.
