I just saw a vending machine with some cute girls one day while fucking around in downtown shanghai, paid a few hundred zhangbucks because fuck looking up exchange rates, and was surprised to see not a trinket, but an actual fucking box with the Goodsmile logo and all.
From looking at the exchange rate and where I was (the part of Shanghai the tourists, aka white people, go to), as well as the quality of the packaging and the figurines, I’m convinced it’s genuine.
I wonder how much it would get. I looked it up, and it was exclusive to the Chinese market. But it was an official nendoroid release…
