Like it's fun to shit on Valorant because it IS the souless zoomer's game, and that's all true, but in reality it's the only shooter you can play right now that doesn't have real monetization problems, glaring design or balancing issues or an entrenched autistic community. And it has regular strong support.
But it is very much a soulless zoomer game that was designed by commitee for broad appeal with a lot of clearly visible trade offs so it can RUN ON THE FAVELAS OF BRAZIL and avoid offending anyone by having teeth at all. But we call that a trade off and move on with our day.
