It's a narrative-heavy game, and when she's constantly talking about other things, it comes off as though she's not engaging with the story, and therefore not engaging with the game itself. Getting herself locked out of the true ending in itself was funny, however I think people took it as her missing the point of the extended ending. It doesn't help that every Nier stream is just filled with the worst kinds of people.
It was her major issue with other story-heavy games like Ryza and Fire Emblem, which granted both are just terrible games to begin with, with very little to talk about game-wise. But she did really get into Yakuza 7 and surprisingly GTAV, so it's not like she hasn't improved and found a balance between talking and paying attention to the game.
