They basically kept the one good thing about chinks (knowing when to break the rules) while learning the most important skill from the japs (knowing when to follow the rules).
The Taiwanese are based, and they’re actually the only reason TO learn Mandarin. They also have a better accent. It somehow sounds both faggy and redneck as fuck, and it’s great.
I had the misfortune of being born to zhangs (they didn’t formally swear fealty to the burger until I was in fourth grade) and being in contact with the shitty type of chink. The Taiwanese aren’t that. They’re some of the good ones.
